Friday with myself...

What is there to do with no phone and no facebook?

....other then pour myself a glass of wine.

“What I want is to be needed. What I need is to be indispensable to somebody. Who I need is somebody that will eat up all my free time, my ego, my attention. Somebody addicted to me. A mutual addiction.”

Books to Bars

Ive known Scott Paige for a little while now, but I just recently found out that Scott is a huge supporter of the Hamilton community. Most recently running a summer camp for boys in Hamilton.

The one thing I have always known about him is he is a talented singer/song writer. So much so my own mother wont let him walk by without asking him to sing. He is now putting both his talents together in support of the Books to Bars program in Hamilton. All books donated will go directly to Southern Ontario prisons, and can be dropped off at many bars around Hamilton (the list is in the link below)

Books to Bars Facebook Page

Scott will be singing at the Books to Bars Benefit Show January 24th at Corktown. COME!!!!!

And listen to the reason why my mom loves him here

Enjoy!

Dear Women Im Sorry

Thursday January 7th was an awesome night in Hamilton because of Paul Allard and The Dear Women Im Sorry Fundraiser.

I didnt have my camera for some regretful reason, but the night was amazing and so was everyone that was apart of it.

Paul had everyone listening to his every word. Hopefully he will do it again soon!

Check out his stuff here-Dear Women Im Sorry

Watch!

Watch! careful eyes compelled to be carefree
to bear witness;
to bear children's views on adult situations;
to not bear the burden of boredom
or to be blinded by the details;
the glistening engagement ring
finding its way down the drain.

Watch! behind your eyelids what exists
inside of a blink
the little vignette played out in front of you
that, like deja vu
seems to repeat confused;
the glistening engagement ring
finding its way down the drain.

Engaged to the idea of exploration
of making maps of ourselves
to never get lost along the way
to refrain from the poisons that made us
feel like ourselves even with
the glistening engagement ring
finding its way down the drain.

A Rankin Christmas

I did some christmas pictures for Amanda and Tara a while back.
I believe my fingers fell off and Amanda's legs turned blue, but Tara didnt even say a word about the cold.

The sun was perfect and so were they :)

Ok I've been slacking

new year, new attempt

I am a super lazy person and have pictures but just havent bothered to upload them.
Either way, I should be taking more, because its the only way to improve.

Friends of mine have taken on the 365 project (a picture a day for a year), and honestly I know I wont do it. As lazy as I am my life is quite busy now for some reason, and I enjoy it.

Soooo Im gonna try to upload something 3 times a week, which is what I set out to do before. But this time its going to happen.

Promise.
